Managing Your Order

Advice on placing, reviewing and saving orders:

1. Finding products

You can find an item by using the search box located at the top of the page or by browsing through the categories from the left hand menu. If you have a copy of our catalogue you can enter the product code into the search box.

You can also browse items by brand by clicking the 'Shop by Brand' button located at the top left of the screen.

2. Add a product to your basket

To add the item to your basket, enter the quantity required into the column marked 'Qty' and click 'Add to Basket'. If you wish you can add more than one item from the list of products by entering the number required in each column then clicking 'Add all Products'. The same result can be achieved by pressing the enter button on your keyboard.

3. View and update your basket

If you wish to change the number of items or remove items completely from your basket you will need to go to the 'Basket' screen by clicking the 'My Basket' or 'Edit' buttons on the top of the inline basket display.

You can overtype the number required in the 'Qty' column and save your changes by clicking the 'Update' button located next to the number field, or if you are amending more than one item, by clicking the 'Update all Quantities' button at the top of the 'Qty' column. You can also press the enter key on your keyboard.

If you wish to delete an item completely then click the 'Delete' button located at the end of the row.

4. Go to the checkout

Once you have finished adding items to your basket, click the 'Go to Checkout' button located in the inline basket display and follow the steps to complete your order. Or, if you are already in the Basket screen click the 'Continue to Step 2' button. If you are a new customer you will be taken through a registration process before selecting a delivery address and saving it for future use and choosing your delivery type (for example 24 hour or before 10am).

When you get to the 'Confirmation' screen you can check that all the details you have entered are correct and that you have all the items that you wanted to order. When you are happy click the 'Place Your Order' button.

You will be provided with an order reference number and a confirmation email

5. Fast Order

If you already know the codes of the products you require (as printed in the Nisbets catalogue) you can use the Fast Order screen rather than browsing the site. Click the 'Fast Order' button at the top right of the screen. Enter the product codes and quantities required into the form, then click the 'Add to Basket' button. You can add up to ten products at a time to your basket. There is no limit to the number of times that you can use the screen per order.

6. Order Tracking

You can view the status of an order and track its progress with our carrier. Order tracking is available from 'My Account'. Please note that items marked 5-7 day direct delivery cannot be tracked as they are dispatched directly from our supplier.

7. Cancelling or amending an order

If you need to cancel or amend an order after submitting it, please contact our customer services line on the local rate number 0845 111 0281, or email custserv@nisbets.co.uk with your web order number and full details of the amendments required.
