Le Creuset are best known for their enamelled cast iron cookware as well as a variety of stoneware and kitchen accessories. With almost 100 years of history in the industry, the manufacturing process of the famous cast iron pots remains much the same as it was when the company began back in 1925. Produced in Fesnoy le grand, France, each piece of Le Creuset cookware is forged, crafted and smoothed by hand, before receiving two coats of enamel and vitrified to make them durable, hygienic and shock resistant. Produced by two separate sand moulds which are then recycled after use, no two pots are ever exactly the same and still reign supreme after nearly a century thanks to their combination of good looks, versatility and ability to retain and distribute heat evenly.
