TABLE BASE HEIGHTS
Standard height table bases are available in either 680mm or 720mm tall, suitable for use as dining tables in restaurants, cafés and bars.
Poseur table height bases are 1080mm high allowing them to be used in clubs, bars and pubs where people often stand.
Coffee height table bases are ideally suited for use in cafés, bistros and in lobbys and reception areas, with a height of 480mm, perfect for lounging.
TABLE BASE SHAPES
Round and square bases
Using a round or square table base allows you to easily clean and vacuum around tables, making them ideally suited to busy fast food restaurants and cafes. The large footprint these bases offer adds support and stability when paired with any shape and size table top.
Cross Bases
Using cross table bases allows chairs to be pushed further under the tables, allowing saved space in aisles and dining halls and also making them easier to move. However, the smaller footprint means they can be harder to clean around and less stable when used with unusually thick and heavy table tops.
Ornate bases
Our ornate bases are similar to the cross bases; offering more space for chairs to be pushed under the tables, but, makes it harder to clean under tables due to multiple legs. Ornate bases have the added bonus of sophisticated style and design, but might not be able to provide maximum stability for heavier, thicker table tops.
The above base styles can be used with the following size table tops:
| 600mm Round | 680mm Round | 700mm Square | 800mm Round | 600mm Square | 680mm Square | 1100mm Rectangular |
Twin Leg bases
Twin leg bases are designed for use with our rectangular table top range, offering reliable support. These bases allow for easy cleaning under tables and allow for more chairs to be placed around our 700 x 1100 tables tops.
The above base styles can be used with the following size table tops:
| 1100mm Rectangular |
Flip top bases
When space is at a premium, flip top table bases come into their element. The top of the base folds down to the side, angling the table tops towards the floor. This space saving design means tables can be stored side by side and also helps to drain water or mess easily.
The above base styles can be used with the following size table tops:
| 600mm Round |
TABLE TOP SIZES
With 5 brands to choose from, including Bolero and Werzalit, there is plenty of choice when it comes to choosing your desired table top. With an extensive range of styles and shapes, the first step is to consider the size of the table you want to build.
Look at how many people your dining rooms, patio areas and/or beer gardens can accommodate. A 600mm square table top can comfortably sit 2 people, perfect for small cafés and bars, whereas a 800mm round table top could sit up to 4 people, but takes up a lot more room. Knowing your customer base is key to knowing what table size you will need.
TIP: Consider using more 2 seater tables with a couple of larger tables, this allows you to move the smaller tables together to create groups of tables when needed.
We’ve put together a handy size guide of tables to give you an easy to view of which size table might be best suited for you:

TABLE TOP SHAPE
Square tables are the most popular shape, as they can be used alone (to suit 2 or 4 guests) or pushed together to suit up to any count you require. This versatility can be beneficial to most fast food restaurants, cafés and restaurants where it can be hard to guess how many guests you will receive. Thanks to their flat edge, square tables can be placed against walls, maximising floor space to seat as many customers as possible.
Round tables offer a different sort of versatility, often preferred in cafés and bistros. Customers can pull up a chair to a round table to make it a 3 seater, or 5 seater, rather than having to move an entire table. Circular table tops are considered less formal and more social.
Rectangular tables are ideally suited to restaurants where you expect to find regular bookings for groups of 4 or more. Like square shaped tables, these can be pushed together to sit 8, 12, 16 or more customers, space permitting.
TIP: Consider ordering a variety of shapes when buying for your dining areas, as a mixture of shapes breaks up uniformity, creates flow and helps you cater for any occasion.
