What makes Microplane graters so sharp?
Conventional graters are manufactured using a stamping process. This means they are often dull and blunt. On the other hand, Microplane graters are created through a signature process that utilises chemicals to create razor sharp cutting edges. This process is called Photochemical Machining, a process Microplane themselves started over 40 years ago and still use to make their world-famous food graters.
