COMFORT
All Chef Works coats are cut and finished to allow for maximum comfort. They understand that chefs work in an intense environment for long shifts and they need to be comfortable and able to manoeuvre in their clothing.
FIT FOR PURPOSE

PRICE
Offering a broad selection of options at various price points. Whether it’s an entry level Le Mans coat or Premium Madrid coat all Chef Works items are manufactured with a high level of attention to detail.
QUALITY & DURABILITY
Can the uniform withstand the kitchen environment? Working in the heat with oils and staining ingredients which then require tough laundering. The treatment Chef Works clothing is made for.
CHEF WORKS JACKETS GAIN CRAFT GUILD OF CHEFS APPROVAL
Following extensive testing, the Chef Works Cool Vent jacket has been awarded ‘Approved
Product’ status by the Craft Guild of Chefs.
Andrew Green, Director of
Operations from The Craft Guild of Chefs said:
“...a jacket which exudes the qualities of their profession; one which offers comfort, style and exact fit; and which aids temperature control, is vital to today’s chefs. The Chef Works Cool Vent Chefs Jackets more than satisfy the requirements expected by Craft Guild of Chefs members. This allows chefs to choose products recognised as being excellent within the industry and tested by their peers, giving them confidence in their purchase.”
Chef Works have an experienced international in-house design team based in California and supported by a sourcing team in Hong Kong. Their design team travel extensively and meet with Chefs from all over the world learning about their needs and wishes. They follow trends in design, not just in clothing, but within interiors and architecture too. Sports clothing has had a big influence on Chef Works as this is an arena that also requires durability and comfort. The award winning Cool Vent™ fabric evolved from soccer jersey with the Cool Vent™ fabric allowing the skin to breath whilst cleverly drawing moisture away from the skin keeping the wearer dry and comfortable during a shift. This fabric is now included in Chef Works shirts, coats, headwear and trousers.
The changes in restaurant interior design, with many restaurants now having open kitchens, has changed how chefs wish to appear. Chefs are now much more visible and the uniforms now have to match and reflect the style of the entire venue/brand. Chef Works support this, with many colour, fabric and design options available to carry a ‘look’ from the Back of House to the Front or visa versa.
The growing street food scene influenced the globally successful Urban Collection. With a mix of textures and often muted colours mixed with durable denim and canvas the aprons and headwear have met the needs of many independent retailers who want a cooler, individual look.
